Can an American Flag touch the ground?
Answer: Care should be exercised in the handling of the flag, to protect it from becoming soiled or damaged. However, you are not required to destroy the flag if it touches the ground. As long as the flag remains suitable for display, even if washing or dry-cleaning (which is an acceptable practice) is required, the flag may continue to be displayed.
That being said, we fly banners that honor our National Colors and place catchers on the ground to aid in paying the utmost respect to our National Flag.
The team performs in a wide array of shows. We have jumped into back yard BBQs and we have performed for the NFL. But nothing beats having the ability to honor our National Colors by waving a banner a mile above the earth over an event!
